I'm going home this summer holidays! Yea!!! But there's this major issue... I have yet to buy the tickets. Hehe ;-) Anyway, I'm really really having a hard time making up my mind which airline to choose. Cathay Pacific or MAS.
You see, each of the aforementioned airlines have their own pros and cons.
Cathay Pacific
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Need to transit Hong Kong, and thus the flight will take 9 hours++; the flight from Hong Kong to KL has no in-flight entertainment and thus the chances that I'll die of boredom is very high.
MAS
Pros: In-flight entertainment; shorter duration of flight...
Cons: EXPENSIVE!!!!
Since I'm on a limited budget, I guess it's Cathay Pacific for me! I'm planning to buy the tickets when I get the scolarship the end of this month...

OMG... how come flight from HK to Msia no inflight entertainment one... you know AirAsiaX is expanding internationally right? Please please dont tell me that they are using the small bodied aircraft with no inflight entertainment.
I can understand the pain of transit... can drive one person nuts... I once transit in Changi for more than 12 hours and that was in the middle of the night. The transit hotel is fully booked and most shops are closed. Just imagine sleeping uncomfortably on the chair waiting for the next flight.
Welcome to the pain of travelling.
Well, at least you get to transit at Kai Tak... take a tour around HK :) and enjoy !
How long will be you in KL? Arent you going back to Sibu?
Go eat and shopping ok !
i&m going to be in kl for like a few days before going back to sibu. want to enjoy authentic malaysian food and shop around, of course ;-)
