Football, Among Many Other Things

I played football again today. Yeah! I only kicked the ball once today. The guys dominated the game but that's a much better improvement over the last time. I didn't even kick the ball once (laughs sheepishly). Anyway, my team lost 1-2 and 0-1. Sigh. Last time we won 2-0 and 1-0. Oh, how the tables have turned.

Ok, you may think, how in the world did I get to play football? Unlike Malaysia, the Japanese emphasizes on a balanced lifestyle. Thus, we have Physical Education (PE) lessons 2 hours every week. My classmates and I have been playing football during PE for several weeks already and I found myself liking the game even more every day. At first, of course there is this sense of foreboding every Monday when we would have to head to change into our exercise gear. But, now... I look forward to PE every Monday!

I really think that the education system in Malaysia should also include PE as a part of our daily lessons as we can really let our hair down and heck, it really does relieves stress in teenagers nowadays!

P/S: I came down with sore throat today so I was feeling a bit down today. However, after watching the drama 'Operation Love' プロポース大作戦, I feel brand new! After all it has my favourite idol, Yamashita Tomohisa 山下智久(winks) =>
