Earthquake!
I had my 3rd earthquake experience today!!!! So excited=> I had my first 1 month after I arrived in Japan and the 2nd one just yesterday. I was sleeping when it happened yesterday morning. It rocked me up from my sleep so it must have been quite strong. But I was very groggy then because, hello... I slept at 3 am that morning so I thought the tremor was just a dream. Ha ha :-)
Anyway, back to this earthquake I felt today. I was copying some study materials at the school library when I felt the copying machine starting to vibrate. For a moment there, I was so startled that I just stood there and stared at the machine because I thought I had, in some way or another destroyed that thing (I didn't really know how to operate that thing because it was all in Japanese. I only knew how to operate that thing when I saw how the Japanese guy before me did it. He he...).
As I stood there stricken by the thought that I may have to pay for the destruction of school property, I realized that the floor is also shaking, and so are the lights above me, and so are everything in the room. Even the librarian looked up from her work. So I thought, so this is probably very normal and I continued my photocopying, what with the copying machine vibrating and stuff.
Only when I returned to the hostel after the library closed did I realized that that particular earthquake that I felt today was a 'strong' one. I mean, I've just been here for like 2 months so how should I know, right?
However, come to think of it, it is quite unnatural to have like 2 tremors for 2 consecutive days. I mean, I've heard of the rumors that the next great earthquake after the 1995 Kobe earthquake will be in Tokyo. And furthermore, scientists are predicting that it will happen either in 2007 or 2008. Scary =<

Guess you felt the same earthquakes as I did,as our area quite near.
The main place was 4,but it became 2 when reached my place.
I was chatting in msn with my Taiwan friends, and it just started to shake...
Look at my bottle, the water inside 'shaking' too...
Here it comes again!Just said to myself, feel it!!
I just typed 'earthquakes' to my Taiwan friends, and hold my table...
Feel the shaking for 2or3 seconds, and suddeny a strong one came,I was a bit shocked.
Then everything back to normal.
Maybe I already experienced that for times,so just not really feel scare..
but till now, still can remember the feeling sudden shake.
